North Beach is one of San Francisco’s original neighborhoods that is rich with history. From the early shoreline of The Barbary Coast during the Gold Rush, to it’s Beatnik sub-culture, to the Italian Heritage of being San Francisco’s Little Italy, this is what makes North Beach a place of song and memories.
Grant Street is the main line extending through the neighborhood as it reaches across Columbus and Broadway from Chinatown. Here is where you will find great dining, funky little shops, as well as some great dive bars.
